Dr. Taha Kass-Hout, interventional cardiologist and bioinformatician, serves as Global Chief Science and Technology Officer at GE HealthCare, leading clinical research and AI capabilities. Previously Amazon’s VP of ML, Distinguished Engineer, and CMO, he developed Comprehend Medical, HealthLake, and Omics. He served two Obama terms as FDA’s first Chief Health Informatics Officer. He holds a MD/MS from UT Health and completed clinical training at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Angel oversees Global Research & Scientific Affairs for GE HealthCare. She has held several leadership roles in R&D and leading a product business. A medical physicist by training, Dr. Angel is dedicated to positively impacting clinical care by developing and translating innovations to the clinical environment. Dr. Angel holds dual bachelor’s degrees in physics and business economics, and she earned her master’s and PhD in biomedical physics from UCLA.

Jen Burningham is a healthcare technology leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as Vice President of Product Management, AI at GE HealthCare. She is also the Co-Founder and CFO of Statera Therapeutics, a biotech startup advancing a Yale-developed nanotechnology platform. With a strong foundation in data science and AI from roles at Truveta and IBM, and academic credentials from Yale University and Yale School of Management, Jen brings a unique blend of technical, strategic, and entrepreneurial expertise.

Bree Bush is a founding member and now General Manager of GE HealthCare’s Command Center Platform, helping healthcare organizations streamline patient flow, optimize capacity, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve access to care. She also serves as General Manager of Digital Pharma Solutions, leading partnerships with Life Sciences companies to develop and deploy digital solutions for precision health. She earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.

Roshy Francis has spent three decades developing medical devices and has led the introduction of over 70 FDA-cleared products to market. He serves as SVP of Research & Development at GE HealthCare, overseeing clinical & technology research, user experience design and other shared R&D capabilities across the company’s $20B portfolio. Previously CTO of the Patient Care Solutions segment, he led the cloud transition and spearheaded the Internet of Medical Things technology platform. He has built R&D organizations globally and holds multiple patents in MRI.

Cao (Danica) Xiao leads a global team to enhance clinical and operational efficiencies in healthcare. She has held leadership roles at Relativity, Amplitude, IQVIA, and IBM Research. She has authored 160+ publications and co-authored a textbook on deep learning for healthcare. Baidu recognized her as a “Top Chinese Young Scholar in AI” (2022) and “Top Chinese Female Scholar in AI” (2023). She holds a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of Washington.

Jan Beger leads global advocacy efforts at GE HealthCare. Jan has twenty plus years in medical imaging, informatics, and AI. He leads the HelloAI education initiative for healthcare professionals, which helps healthcare professionals implement AI to improve patient care and clinical workflows.

Russell Heinrich leads the Healthcare Technology and Innovation center (HTIC).  His team leverages their expertise across technical disciplines and clinical domains to research and prove feasibility of advanced concepts.  They collaborate on research with scientists and clinicians, publish frequently and are supported by NIH, ARPA-H and other government bodies.  Russell’s background is in medical devices and diagnostics, and he’s made meaningful contributions to technology strategies, new products, and IP.  He holds engineering degrees from Georgia Tech (PhD) and Duke.

Roland Dias is the Global Head of Care Pathways, driving innovation and scale across Oncology, Neurology, and Cardiology to empower personalized care delivery. A proven business leader, Roland has led turnarounds and growth at Microsoft and Medtronic, revitalizing portfolios and securing major wins across healthcare sectors. He holds an MBA from Cornell and a BS in Engineering and Operations Research from University of Massachusetts.
